Here at PMA, we are very much a household, both within the group and with our clients also. So as we prepare for the holidays, we want to respect the household that our team loves and works really hard for, but are the vacations always a time to remove?
Based on what industry you’re in, it may not be. Should you work with people struggling with despair, addiction or stress – the vacations can very much be a trigger, and my guess is, you are still on-call.
As a staff, we are very careful about reaching around the holidays (and therefore, we hold off sending emails on weekends and evening year round), but its OK if you still feel the necessity to operate over the holidays, since it is the perfect time to:
Review your entire year, what exactly were your successes? What could you do differently?
The holiday season is a great time to make a fantasy board for 2019, what would you like your focus to be?
Write personal letters – not emails, actual handwritten notes – to your customers thanking them for their business over the last year.
Work on your social networking content calendar for 2019
Read a book that inspires you! Maybe it’s business related, or personal growth, whatever excites you, take action!
